In Town Home Buyer

A More Personal Approach to Selling a Home

My name is Luca Amara, and I’ve spent the last 15+ years working in real estate across Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire as both an investor and licensed real estate broker.

I became a licensed real estate agent in 2009 and earned my broker’s license in 2014. Around that same time, I joined one of the largest and most recognized home buying organizations in the country, where I spent years helping sellers navigate difficult transitions, distressed properties, inherited homes, major cleanouts, complicated timelines, and situations that often required much more than simply making an offer.

Experience Matters — But So Does Trust

Over the years, I’ve been involved in approximately 100 investment transactions — including assignments, renovations, wholesale deals, and full property flips — along with nearly twice that number in traditional MLS transactions.

I’ve also spent years as a landlord and property manager, including helping manage investment properties for others. That experience taught me how important communication, patience, transparency, and respect are when dealing with tenants, difficult situations, and properties that require a more hands-on approach.

Real estate was never just about houses to me. It was always about problem-solving and helping reduce stress during difficult transitions.

  • Inherited and probate properties
  • Estate cleanouts and organization
  • Divorce and family transitions
  • Flexible timelines and move-out coordination
  • Connecting sellers with trusted local resources
  • Helping sellers understand all of their options honestly

Why I Built In Town Home Buyer

After years working inside a large national operation, I wanted to create something more personal, more direct, and more transparent for local homeowners.

The larger systems taught me a tremendous amount about acquisitions, renovations, seller communication, and operational discipline. But over time, I also saw that many homeowners simply wanted a calmer and more human experience.

  • Direct communication
  • Realistic expectations
  • Flexibility
  • Professionalism
  • Less pressure
  • More transparency
  • Less stress during an already stressful process
  • To work directly with someone local

That’s what In Town Home Buyer was built to be.

Not a call center. Not an automated valuation website. Not a giant corporate acquisition machine.

Just a local company built around real conversations, realistic evaluations, and practical solutions.

Local Roots Matter

I am from Boston, but I’ve worked throughout Eastern Mass, the Cape and Islands and Southern NH, and I’ve spent years building relationships, staying friendly with past clients, and connecting people with trusted professionals when they need help moving forward.

  • Contractors
  • Lenders
  • Attorneys
  • Local agents
  • Movers
  • Estate professionals
  • Cleanout companies
  • Inspectors
  • And other professionals who help difficult transactions come together smoothly

When sellers contact In Town Home Buyer, they are speaking directly with someone who understands the local market, local housing stock, local challenges, and local timelines.

That matters.

A Different Type of Home Buying Company

At the end of the day, this is still a business. But I’ve always believed that sellers should understand their options, feel respected during the process, and never feel pressured into making a decision that doesn’t make sense for them.

Whether we buy the property directly, help point you toward a traditional listing route, or simply provide information that helps you move forward, the goal is the same:

To create a smoother, more transparent experience that helps reduce stress during what is often a very difficult time.
